Data Organization and Reference

Pre-petition Data Organization and Reference: Overview

Comprehensive data collection and integrity, initiated at the beginning of chapter 11 preparation, will provide a lifetime of organized data for reference throughout the course of the case.

Over the course of time during a chapter 11 case, a creditor's history of interaction with the case professionals, court, and the debtors increases.  A single chapter 11 creditor will receive legal notices or specific pleadings that can affect their recovery - a proof of claim package, solicitation materials, listing on the debtor's schedule of assets and liabilities, statements of financial affairs, and possibly a disbursement settlement.

That same creditor may file pleadings requesting notice or objecting to an action. The creditor may call, email, fax, or send letters regarding notices received. The creditor may also file multiple proofs of claim, submit a ballot, or raise an issue with disbursement.  A single creditor may be involved with hundreds of pages of legal documents since most chapter 11 cases involve thousands of creditors.

Retaining Phase Eleven as your chapter 11 administrative services provider will ensure a lifetime of case organized data for secure online reference at any point during your case.

Pre-petition Data Organization and Reference: Services

The foundation of our data organization is our Relational Restructuring Database.  This custom designed database was built as a tool for Phase Eleven to comprehensively record, track, report and provide access to case professionals and creditors alike to all events which occur over the course of a chapter 11 case.

Our Relational Restructuring Database was designed to do more than list and report on case information.  It was designed to interrelate case events, court entries, creditors, pleadings and professionals in order to provide a comprehensive record for reference necessary to respond to all restructuring issues.

Phase Eleven data organization and reference include, but is not limited to:

  • Grouping of related Chapter 11 data for rapid review
  • Cross-referencing of filed pleadings and diligence materials
  • Online professionals' reference library

At Phase Eleven, part of our mission is to provide data organization and reference as a value to all case participants - case professionals, creditors, companies, the court and the U.S. Trustee - as a cost effective and efficient means of resolving all restructuring issues.
